🤝 Community Guidelines

Philiabit's core mechanic — peer-proof approval — depends on trust. When you approve someone's proof, you're vouching that it's real. When you post a streak or badge, other members celebrate it as genuine progress. These guidelines protect that trust so the accountability system actually works.

• Submit proof that genuinely reflects your own completion of the habit or challenge, captured at the time of the check-in.
• Don't reuse an old photo, download someone else's image, or use AI-generated or heavily edited images to fake completion.
• Don't stage a photo to imply you did something you didn't (e.g., a gym photo taken without actually working out).
• Review proof honestly when it's your turn to approve — only approve what looks genuinely consistent with the challenge.
• Don't collude with others to auto-approve each other's proof regardless of content.
• Don't use scripts, bots, emulators, or multiple accounts to inflate streaks, XP, coins, or leaderboard rank.

In chats, comments, stories, and challenge groups:

• No harassment, bullying, threats, or targeted negativity toward another member.
• No hate speech or content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• No sexually explicit content, graphic violence, or content promoting self-harm.
• No spam, scams, phishing links, or unrelated promotional content in challenge chats or comments.
• Encouragement and friendly competition are welcome — the goal is accountability, not pressure or shame when someone misses a day.

• Use your own name/likeness or a consistent handle — don't impersonate another person, celebrity, or brand.
• One account per person. Don't create duplicate or throwaway accounts to bypass a ban, restart a broken streak fraudulently, or manipulate group challenges.
• Don't misrepresent your affiliation with Philiabit (e.g., pretending to be staff or a moderator).

• Show up for your team — in Relay challenges, repeatedly failing to take your turn affects everyone else's progress.
• Challenge creators should set clear, achievable, good-faith rules and shouldn't design challenges intended to embarrass or exclude participants.
• Removing someone from a group should be based on genuine non-participation or violations, not personal disputes unrelated to the challenge.

Every profile, post, story, proof, and message in Philiabit has a report option. Tap the ⋯ menu and choose Report, select a reason, and add context if you can. Reports are confidential — the person you report is not told who reported them.

• Fake or manipulated proof — flag it so a moderator can review the approval history.
• Harassment or hate speech — include a screenshot if possible.
• Impersonation or fake accounts.
• Safety concerns — for anything urgent involving a risk to someone's safety, also contact local emergency services; Philiabit's review process is not a substitute for emergency response.

Depending on severity and history, enforcement can include:

• A warning and content removal for a first, minor violation.
• Reversal of XP, coins, streaks, or badges obtained through cheating.
• Temporary restriction of specific features (e.g., posting proof, group creation, or messaging).
• Temporary or permanent suspension of the account for serious or repeated violations.
• Immediate action for content involving illegal activity, credible threats, or child safety concerns, which we may also report to law enforcement as required.

If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, you can appeal by emailing [email protected] with your username and the decision you're appealing. We review appeals in good faith, though not every action can be reversed.
